Dance Services Agreement

This agreement is between The Reach Method LLC (dance teacher) and the parent or legal guardian who signs below (client), for dance training provided to the student named in the signature block (student).

Scheduling

Recurring weekly sessions are preferred and may be scheduled on an ongoing basis to provide consistency and ensure a regular lesson time. Individual or occasional sessions may also be booked through the dance teachers’s online booking system. If needed, booking requests may be made by text message, subject to the dance teacher’s availability and discretion. A session is considered confirmed only when the dance teacher has confirmed the booking and, when applicable, it has been entered into the online booking system.

Cancellation, No-Show, & Late Arrival

Cancellation by the client. Client/student may cancel or reschedule at no charge with at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice before the scheduled start time. Notice may be given by text, email, or the online booking system. A session cancelled less than twenty-four hours before the scheduled start time is charged in full. This reflects a reserved slot that cannot be filled on short notice.

No-Show. A student who does not attend a scheduled session without notice is charged in full.

Late arrival. If the student arrives late, the session still ends at its scheduled end time and is charged in full.

Cancellation by the dance teacher. If the the dance teacher cancels a session, it is not charged. If the session was prepaid, it is refunded. The dance teacher will offer a replacement time.

Emergencies. The dance teacher may waive the late-cancellation charge in a genuine emergency. Where waived, the session is not charged. The waiver applies only to the missed session; any session scheduled in its place is a new booking. Note: this does not include the studio fee if the dance teacher has already prepaid.

Photo and Video

The dance teacher sometimes shares photos or short videos from sessions on The Reach Method website and social media. This is entirely optional and is not required to receive dance training.

Dance Participation Waiver and Release

I, the parent or legal guardian of the student identified below, understand that my child is participating in dance classes offered by Savannah Reach Warrick and/or The Reach Method. I understand that dance instruction involves physical movement and exertion that may be strenuous and may involve inherent risks, including the risk of injury.

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician regarding my child’s ability to safely participate in dance instruction and to disclose to the instructor any known injury, medical condition, physical limitation, or other circumstance that may affect my child’s ability to participate safely. I represent that, to the best of my knowledge, my child is able to participate in the activities and that I have disclosed any relevant conditions or limitations to the instructor.

I voluntarily assume responsibility for the risks associated with my child’s participation in the classes and sessions, including risks that are known or reasonably foreseeable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, on behalf of myself and my child, and our respective heirs, personal representatives, and legal successors, release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Savannah Reach Warrick and The Reach Method, and their respective instructors, employees, agents, and representatives, for claims arising from my child’s participation in the classes or sessions, including claims for injury, illness, property damage, or death, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to inform the instructor before class, and as circumstances change, of any injury, illness, medical condition, or other circumstance that could affect my child’s ability to participate safely.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this waiver and release and voluntarily agree to its terms.
